I recently just sold my freind my Warn 8000 winch and hes having some issues with it. Heres the email i just got:
I finally installed the winch this weekend & got
"nada." I'm not sure what could be wrong but it's not that difficult
to hook up. The motor doesn't hum at all & the cable won't release
when putting it on free spool. I'm thinking that it might have
something to do with the internal braking mechanism.
It was working in march of this year so im not too sure whats going on, any suggestions???
